March 2026 Market Update
The spring market is underway, and March brought some encouraging movement across the GTA housing market.
Sales were up compared to both last month and March of last year, while new listings declined. At the same time, selling prices remained lower than a year ago, continuing to support improved affordability for buyers.
This combination has created a window where buyers are benefiting from greater negotiating power, while sellers are seeing demand pick up alongside reduced competition.
If current trends continue, we may see prices begin to stabilize as we move further into 2026.
